Throughout the year, community members are invited to join Georgia Southwestern in a variety of celebrations such as annual Homecoming festivities, 'Under the Lights' soccer kick-off, fine arts exhibitions, musical performances, summer camps, and more!

7:00 pm Agerton Observatory atop the Roney Building Join GSW faculty for an open house at Agerton Observatory atop the Roney Building! Weather permitting, attendees should be able to see Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, and the Great Nebula in Orion.

Gold Force Gala

6:00 pm Griffin Bell Conference Center Save the date! Çï¿ûÊÓƵ will hold the fourth annual Gold Force Gala, a black tie fundraiser supporting student scholarships, on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the newly constructed Griffin Bell Conference Center. The event will begin with a cocktail social and silent auction, followed by dinner and the 2026 Outstanding Alumni Awards ceremony.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm Carter I Building Join us for the 4th Annual Souper Bowl Party Fundraiser! This event supports our GSW nursing students who will be going on a study away trip later this year. Fill your bowl with soup and pick out a bowl cozy and drink for $10. Or if you'd like to sample several soups, new this year are flights of 5 soups for $15! Soup will be available to-go if needed. Desserts will also be available.

7:30 pm Jackson Performance Hall Join us for an evening of captivating music with violinist Askar Salimdjanov. Tickets will be available at the door. $12 for adults, $10 for GSW faculty and staff. 8:30 am On Campus Join us for a Saturday Preview Day and get a glimpse of life at GSW! Students and parents will learn about financial aid and scholarships, explore academic programs, interact with faculty, and enjoy a student-led campus tour.

7:45 pm Storm Dome Bring a stuffed animal to toss on the court when the GSW men's basketball team scores its first point of the evening! All toys collected will be donated to Phoebe Women's & Children's Health Services department and local first responders.

5:00 pm Multiple Locations Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity proudly invites all Mu Delta Chapter alumni and friends to celebrate the Mu Delta 50th Anniversary Weekend Celebration, February 27–28, 2026, at Çï¿ûÊÓƵ in Americus, Georgia. Events include a Meet & Greet on Friday from 5–9 p.m. in the Wheatley Administration Building and a formal Gala Dinner on Saturday from 6–10 p.m. at the Griffin Bell Conference Center.

9:00 am Griffin Bell Golf and Conference Center The Georgia Southwestern Baseball team invites you to the GSW Letterman’s Club Golf Tournament held in conjunction with our annual Alumni Weekend. May 26 - 28, 2026 GSW Baseball Complex Players ages 5 to 14 will join GSW baseball coaches and players to expand their baseball skills. Cost is $125 per player for the three-day camp running May 26 - 28.
