Students wishing to use SpanTran or Josef Silny are encouraged to use the custom or . These applications are designed to streamline the process and save students $10 - $20, depending on the service requested.
**Due to the suspension of in-person testing for many of the USG-approved assessments for evaluating English language proficiency, Georgia Southwestern will accept the for 2021 applicants only. A minimum score of 95 must be achieved.

No application will be considered until all of the above items are received. Allow at least four (4) weeks for processing. Once these items are received, the Admissions Office will evaluate your credentials and make a decision. If you are accepted to the University, you will be notified by mail or email.
Students must submit the following items before the SEVIS I-20 or DS-2019 will be issued to obtain your student VISA. These items can not be dated more the 12 months before the beginning of the semester for which you are admitted. All documents needed for the I-20 can be received by mail or email.

Please Note: All international students enrolling in Çï¿ûÊÓƵ for the first time are required to have a Tuberculosis Screening & questionnaire – within 10 days of arrival to the GSW campus. Positive PPD tests are required to have a follow-up chest X-ray within 2 weeks.

There were many reasons I wanted to attend GSW but one of the deciding factors was definitely the out-of-state tuition waiver for international students. International students usually pay three times the amount in-state students pay, but GSW's waiver program has helped me and my family tremendously when it came to paying for college. I encourage all incoming international students to look into this program provided by GSW.
